Route details

We will start from from the hut facing the Vinchio-Vaglio social winery, immersed in the scents and flavors of the territory. Our first stop will be the Belvedere di Vinchio, where we will enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding valleys.

After a short descent, we will immerse ourselves in the Val Sarmassa Park, a true natural paradise. Here, we can admire the "Percorso dei nidi" of the Vinchio-Vaglio winery, the Ulisse hut and the suggestive giant bench.

We will continue our journey towards the village of Cortiglione, and then descend towards Incisa Scapaccino. Along the Belbo river, we will cross the village of San Lorenzo and, with a little effort, we will climb the hill of Incisa.

Once we reach the crest, we will enjoy a breathtaking panorama before descending towards the Gran Canyon Pub and the Zane E. Carlson hill, where the memorial of the fallen partisan plane is located.

Our tour will continue towards Castelnuovo Belbo, where we will climb to the giant bench and admire the town from above. Crossing the "lungo Belbo Pianetta", we will return to Incisa.

We will conclude the day with a visit to the medieval village of Incisa Alta, where we will admire the Church of Virgo Fidelis. Crossing the Valle Sarmassa, we will return to the Vinchio-Vaglio social winery, where we can toast to the beauties we have discovered.
